About the process of mustache and beard transplantation:
The operation is carried out under local anesthesia. The doctor removes the hair follicles from the donor area, about 3,000 to 5,000 hair follicles depending on the need of the receiving area.
The doctor carefully selects the follicles that match the quality of the hair in the facial area, and then transplants them very accurately one by one into the receiving area.
The whole procedure takes from two to eight hours.
