Before the operation:
- Your doctor will ask you about your current and past medical condition, the medications and supplements you are taking as well as any surgery you have had previously.
- The doctor examines and takes pictures of the breasts, and determines the appropriate surgical procedure for them.
- Discuss with your doctor your expectations and hopes for the operation and what end result you desire.
- You should refrain from smoking and drinking alcohol for at least 30 days before the procedure.
- Fasting completely for 8 hours before the procedure.

About the process:
The surgery is performed under general anesthesia. The procedure may vary from case to case.
It is possible for a doctor to do the following:
- Liposuction: by making a small incision in the skin and inserting a small tube to suction fat and fluid from the breast. This technique is suitable for women who are looking for a minimal reduction in breast size.
- Making a surgical incision: The doctor makes a surgical incision around the areola downwards to the bottom of the breast, then removes excess fat and tissue, re-sculpts, and lifts the breast. This technique is suitable for reducing breasts of moderate size and tightening sagging.
- T-shaped incision: The doctor makes an incision around the areola that descends vertically towards the bottom of the breast and then horizontally around the perimeter of the areola area. Then he begins to remove excess fat and tissue, re-sculpt and lift the breast. This procedure is suitable for women who suffer from huge breast sizes and significant sagging. The procedure takes about two to 5 hours depending on the breast’s condition.
After the operation:
- Small tubes may be placed in the breast to drain excess fluid and blood from the body.
- It is necessary to follow the doctor’s instructions on how to take care of the area of the operation.
- Sleep on the back or side, to avoid pressure on the breasts.
- Commit to wearing a sports bra and compression dress to reduce swelling.
- Avoid intense physical and sports activities for several weeks.
- Avoid intercourse for several weeks.
- Take a break from work for 10 days.
- Avoid wearing bras with a metal frame for several weeks.
