Before the operation:
Before the procedure, you will need to see your surgeon for a medical evaluation and may ask you to

- Your doctor will ask you about your current and past medical condition, the medications and supplements you are taking as well as any surgery you have had previously.
- Your doctor examines and takes pictures of your breasts, so you can compare your appearance before and after surgery.
- Discuss with your doctor your expectations and hopes for the operation and what end result you want.
- You should refrain from smoking and drinking alcohol for at least 30 days before the procedure.
- Fasting completely for 8 hours before the procedure.
About the process:
The surgeon begins by making an incision under the breast, under the arm, or around the nipple, (the doctor will determine the method based on your body condition and the type and amount of filling chosen).
The doctor implants the fillers above or below the chest muscle. After the fillings are installed in place, the doctor closes the wounds.
The procedure takes one to two hours and the anesthesia might be general.
After the operation:
After the procedure, the incisions are covered with elastic bandages to reduce swelling.
It is possible to place small tubes to drain any excess blood or fluids. The doctor may ask the patient to wear a compression bra for several weeks to relieve swelling.
You should refrain from strenuous physical and sports activities and intercourse for several weeks.
Swellings at the site of the wounds are likely to occur but they fade over time.
